India superstar batter Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma have been invited for the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22.

Kohli became the latest cricketer to be invited for the ceremony. Former players like Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni has also been invited for the ceremony as well. On January 13, Tendulkar received the invitation at his residence in Mumbai, while Dhoni was invited on January 15.

As Ayodhya gears up for the landmark ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged all ‘Ram Devotees’ to not flock to the city on the day of consecration, saying the public can visit the temple once the formal program is finished on January 22.
