Thamma recorded a 13.92 percent occupancy rate for its morning shows. Attendance picked up in the afternoon, rising to 21.22 percent, while the evening shows saw an occupancy of 19.98 percent.
The actor cleared the confusion by stating that the concept of the movie has not been inspired by Western tales but by Indian folklore.
