GOOGLE I/O 2023 Updates: The search giant has announced in the I/O event today that Google Bard will be open to all without a waitlist.

Users can now access the AI tool across 180+ countries and territories in English. The model now runs on a more capable PaLM 2 model and has improved at maths, coding, reasoning and more. Additionally, Bard is coming to Google Lens, the host adds. It will be available in over 40 languages.

Today we’re removing the waitlist process and making Bard available in over 180 countries and territories, with more coming soon. 🎉#GoogleIO

The waitlist removal is a big step considering Microsoft’s AI-powered Bing (a result of the tech giant’s heavy funds infusion in OpeAI) was made available in Open Preview to the public recently.
